A Coming King

April 23, 2017 – December 3, 2017
It was a daunting time for Israel. They were facing adversity from outside and within. The technologies of enemy nations threatened war, and Israel was languishing from political intrigue and religious corruption. How could God’s chosen survive? Yet God purposed to provide–in the form of a baby requested by a mother in the midst of barrenness. This baby would later be the king-maker, a pivotal person in Israel’s history. We trace Israel’s history from no king, to a king Israel demanded, and ultimately to a king in God’s plan of salvation.
